As we work away to get the newest flavors out on September 10th, all sorts of local ingredients are coming in the doors of the Cupcake Royale bakery.  It’s like Christmas when we get huckleberries, pears, apples and fresh brewed craft beer.

These pears will be peeled, diced and cooked into a spiced compote.  The compote will be a filling in our brandied poached pear cupcakes.

So let’s break it down-

Our vanilla cupcake, filled with spiced pear filling, topped with Finnriver‘s Pear Brandy buttercream, drizzled with a housemade pear caramel sauce.  Yay, Yay, Yay!
